On the 11th of November, Veterans Day became a wild ride for the American Experience Club from Green River College! Picture this: a group of eager students, armed with banners and boundless energy, embarked on an American football pilgrimage to see the mighty University of Washington face off against the Utah Utes.

The bus rolled to a stop, unleashing a cacophony of cheers, music, and the mouthwatering aroma of grilled food—welcome to the world of tailgating! The American Experience Club dived headfirst into the festivities waving banners they had made the day prior to further cheer the Huskies.

But wait, there’s more! We made our way past security and to our seats in the stand, as the national anthem played, a convoy of planes soared overhead, a breathtaking salute to Veterans Day.

Now, fasten your seatbelts for the game! Hours of heart-stopping moments, relentless ‘Go Huskies’ chants, and then—victory! “DUBS UP” flashed on the scoreboard, sealing the Huskies’ triumph.

But the adventure didn’t end there. The American Experience Club, led by their advisor, descended from the stands to the famous field. Cue the group photo right where touchdowns had unfolded just an hour earlier!

With hoarse throats but hearts full of new memories, the students boarded the bus, and once again, the mysterious DJ spun another spellbinding playlist. A day of sheer amusement and excitement, etched into the annals of their college escapades!
