A Short Film by a Los Angeles City College Student
Drawing inspiration from real-life events, Oleksii’s motive for the movie came from stories of people going missing; being lost without food, water, or clothing. For our main character (played by Yanina Makoviy), what started as a harmless trip had ramifications that would change the rest of her life. And that’s the thing. As much as we desperately try to steer the course of our lives, one decision can be all it takes to send it spiraling out of control.
