Transworld Schools Halloween Party & Contest

Transworld Schools students came, they saw, they voted, and one duo dominated our annual Halloween contest held on our San Francisco campus this past Wednesday, October 31st. The event drew quite a crowd to celebrate the spooky holiday. Dimmed lights, scary skulls, crawly creatures and a couple of pumpkins set the mood for what is our school’s favorite party of the year.

Our students pulled out all the stops with a fun mix of costumes that ranged from scary to super adorable. Worayut, dressed as a big baby, was the center of attention while Namsiri was unrecognizable as a scary nun. Both of them won prizes for funniest and scariest costume but they were not alone, with a host of students showing up in very impressive outfits.

Lilia ruled as a red-hot Power Ranger and won most original costume, Khongorzul was chic as Elastigirl from The Incredibles and Rayen, as a mysterious monk on a mission, channeled Sean Connery from In the Name of the Rose. Other Transworld Schools students came dressed as a scary clown, a not-so-nice little red riding hood, and even an adorable (real) baby or two made an appearance all togged out in their tiny ‘First Halloween’ costumes.

Students enjoyed hot dogs, chicken tacos and assorted snacks during the party which culminated in a noisy competition to single out the funniest, scariest and most original costumes of the day. Most importantly everyone had fun, spent time with their friends and many experienced America’s most frightening holiday for the first time!

Now let’s plan that Christmas party...
