My family and I used to do “dream boards” when my brothers and I were growing up. We would all sit together, and draw or cut out from magazines things or experiences we wanted to have in the future. Tibetan Buddhist Monk Tenzin Yignyen is back at Mohawk Valley Community College! Monday, he began the creation of a sand mandala in the library. He will continue to work on the mandala all week, then will dismantle it in a ceremony on Friday morning to demonstrate that everything — including life itself — is transient.
