Olympic College (OC) is a public two-year community college located in Bremerton, Washington State, offering more than 70 different degrees and certificates in academic transfer and professional-technical programs, Intensive English and high school completion. The campus is located on a 33-acre site framed by views of the Olympic mountains, Mt. Rainier, saltwater inlets, and the Cascade mountains. The city of Bremerton is a safe community and the ideal home base from which to explore and experience the West Coast. With regular ferry service to Seattle, which is less than an hour away, Bremerton offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the small town atmosphere with all the excitement and perks of the culturally diverse city of Seattle.

University Transfer (Associate) Degrees

Students can complete a two-year associate degree which transfers to a four-year university. Degrees offered: Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), Associate in Applied Science (AAS). Concentrated studies in: Sciences (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Math); Engineering, (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Materials, Aerospace); Computer Science; Visual Arts, Art, Music, and Multi-Media; Accounting, Business Management, Economics; English, Literature and Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology), and many more.

Intensive English

Olympic College's Intensive English (IE) program prepares international students for academic study at colleges and universities in the United States. OC offers small classes and personal attention from highly qualified instructors. Most students who enroll in the IE program continue their academic study at Olympic College for their associate degree, then transfer to a four-year institution to complete the final two years of their bachelor’s degree. 

High School Completion Program

Save time and money by earning a Washington State High School Diploma and college credits at the same time! You can graduate in two years with both a high school diploma and an associate degree, then transfer to a top university to earn your bachelor’s degree. This program allows you to earn two degrees for the price and time of one.

Bachelor's Degrees

Olympic College offers several in-demand bachelor's degree programs. Take advantage of OC's world-class facilities and learn from expert instructors who are invested in your success. Bachelor's degrees include: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Applied Science in Digital Filmmaking, Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Systems, and Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership and Technical Management.

When international students are admitted to OC, they can also receive a letter of guaranteed admission to select universities (Associate degree and minimum GPA required). Universities with an admissions guarantee agreement with OC include:

Admission Requirements

Complete the International Student Application online and upload the following documents into the portal:

  • $50 Application fee
  • Copy of valid passport
  • Bank statement showing the ability to fund one academic year in the United States (currently $20,340 USD)
  • Affidavit of support, if the bank statement is not in your name
  • Transcripts from high school and any post-secondary institution attended
